“Nausea” is a novella written by the French existentialist philosopher Sartre that reflects nihilistic existentialism.
In the explanation of nausea, we generally agree with this statement: “What is nausea? When your eyes penetrate the appearance of the things around you and see the essence below the surface, you find that the order and inevitability of the world suddenly lose , only the absurdity based on chance is left. Everything that originally seemed to be taken for granted suddenly becomes unreasonable. The sensory discomfort caused by this change is nausea.”
This is also the theme that the documentary we are about to shoot is trying to show and explore, that is, the essential absurdity hidden in the appearance from a personal perspective.
